Alex was Thunder's "older brother", having arrived about 1 year before  Thunder. They kept each other company during the days when we were both  at work. Alex would always love teasing Thunder by grabbing one of his toys  and playing "keep away".  Alex developed cancer in his mouth at the age of 5.  After a successful operation, he lived several more good years.  Alex loved to  swim, go hiking and chase tennis balls.  He was also our morning jogging  partner.  Oscar – what a sweetheart, I was  prepared to be afraid of you  Oscar, after all you were a 130  pound  Rottweiler!, and I had no  previous experience with a dog as  big as you.
I think the thing that Oscar  thrived on the most was his  people. He liked to play and  chase tennis balls and be in the  water, but the thing I remember  the most was how content he was   to be with you and get your  attention or sit close to you.  A  130 pound lap dog! Oscar barked  at everyone that went by his  house, not to scare them away,  but to say hello, come play with  me. I will always remember Oscar  with love. I still have pictures up  in my office.
Oscar, see you at the Rainbow  Bridge, Love, Nancy
