I saw your post on the petloss newsgroup and thought I'd check out your website. What a beautiful tribute to Alex and what a beautiful dog....and what big, soft expressive eyes! You have my deepest sympathy on your loss. I lost my Cocker of 14 yrs. jus 3 months ago, so I know how you feel. Fortunately now I'm able to focus on the happy times more than the void that was left in my life. I also have 2 little Cocker pups that keep me busy! Melinda

Past and Present Dog Owners - appreciate and understand the love of your very special pet, Alex. They are your family and always a place of memory when they are gone. Nancy and Mark, we have had three dogs in our years of Merrill and my married years - enny a cocker spaniel, Misty and JR, both poodles. We do not ever forget them. I appreciate what Alex meant to you both. It is really special that you can have this website with your many photos. I know Thunder and now Disco are great companions. You have them so well trained - and they have such lovely dispositions. Enjoy them as I am sure you do. Love Aunt Elaine

Nancy, this is quite a site. I love the pictures of Alex and the write-up you did. I know how hard it must have been for you to see him go; I certainly dread the day this happens to Lexi.

A lovely and touching website. Our beautiful Brittany, Amber, crossed the bridge in September, 1998, leaving a huge gap in our lives. She will live in our hearts forever. We have just adopted a rescue Brittany we have named Kaylee who we fell in love w th instantly. It is such a tribute to the dog who has passed on when you realize how deeply you miss them, and know in time how much you need another dog to help fill that empty space left behind.

What a beautiful tribute to Alex. It isn't hard to see how much you love him. We have a hamster named Darwin, two cats (Charlie and Thurman) and two dogs (Emily and Poopits). Each one carries a special piece of our heart. It doesn't matter how many pets y u have. To lose one is sure to leave a terrible emptiness. Our thoughts are with you.

Thank you so much for sharing the beautiful memories and sentiments of Alex. He obviously was a special, well loved dog with wonderful parents. As a mother of two 3-year old corgies, my heart is saddened by your loss. I cried both tears of sorrow and j y while looking through your memories. Alex and Thunder have very special parents who have inspired me to enjoy every moment with these charmed furry friends we call our dogs. I am so sorry you had to say good bye to Alex. I had to let my old lady dog, Sammie go to the bridge this past summer and it is never easy. Your tribute to Alex is lovely and does him proud. It brought tears to my eyes. I hope in time, you will be able to open your heart to another pup. I know that Alex can not be replaced but, I adopted a rescue and he helped to heal the hole in my heart. od bless.
